House of Penguin Book Design guarantees the design and production of an industry standard product. PAYMENT. Terms are payment in full at time of purchase. Payment is preferred through Paypal, but arrangements can be made for check, money order, or money transfer per Client's preference. Payment is in US Dollars. PRODUCTION TIMES. Turnaround times are quoted at time of purchase of services and are based upon known working and production times. Special Client needs and delays in Client's approving proof materials can delay production times, but in any case Client will remain informed throughout the production process. DISTRIBUTION. House of Penguin Book Design will obtain all necessary ISBN / EAN-13 / Library Cataloging / and Library of Congress Cataloging Data on behalf of the Client, and will coordinate and list to sell Client's book on the major Online Booksellers including but not limited to: Amazon.com, BN.com (Barnes & Noble), WHSmith.com, and others as they may express interest in Client's title. SALES MANAGEMENT. Clients who choose Package #1, or who later upgrade for distribution services, will be provided a monthly statement of online book sales. House of Penguin will collect royalties from these online booksellers and forward royalties to Client via Paypal. House of Penguin Book Design deducts a fee equal to 3% of sales to offset bookkeeping costs and funds transfer fees. COPYRIGHT OWNERSHIP. All copyrights to books written by the Client are the sole intellectual property of the Client. House of Penguin Book Design has no claim of ownership in any way to any content or intellectual property or copyrights owned by the Client.
